Wardog Bite }}Wardog is a small beast used in combat by some Human factions, including your squad. ==Equipment== *Can be equipped with a Heavy Wardog Armor (85) or Wardog Armor (55). Noble faction uses Wardogs with Wardog Armor. Heavy Wardog Armor only can be used by the player. ==Skills== {| class="article-table" style="font-size:85%;" | ! align="center" |Icon ! align="center" |Name ! align="center" |AP ! align="center" |Fatigue ! align="left" |Description |- |} ==Behavior== Dogs rush the enemy. If they have a choice, they prioritize fleeing units, ranged units, specialists and those who is not engaged in melee. When you unleash them, they will act immediately. You can not control Wardogs you release, they act on their own. When they flee or die, dogs don't cause morale checks on their allies. ==Tips== *Faster than Warhounds, but weaker. *Can be used for distraction, to catch archers, fleeing enemies or even a Necromancer, or to get a surrounding bonus. *A brother can unleash a dog and use Rotation on it to save himself. *Enemies prioritize brothers over dogs, however will still hit dogs with area attacks. So you can use dogs to counter outnumbering by Wiedergangers or Nachzehrers. There are a few exceptions like Necrosavants and Barbarian Madman, who will attack dogs first. *Be careful with timing when using dogs to avoid losing them pointlessly. *Trying to distract enemies with Berserk and/or high resolve can backfire, refunding their AP and/or improving their morale when they kill a dog. Undead don't have morale so they don't benefit from killing a dog. *If attacked by dogs, you may not respect their zone of control if your melee defense is high enough. *Using dogs against Hexen is extremely risky and not recommended. They can attack charmed brothers and don't care about Hex. *Will have confident morale if unleashed by a Houndmaster. Navbox Enemies
