==Behavior==
The number of eggs is 5 times less than spiders, but a group of 5 spiders don't spawn eggs. They are placed on tiles where they are not seen by the player, and are never [[Hidden (Status Effect)|hidden]] in vegetation.

Eggs are stationary and aren't in turn order. However, they can spawn a [[Webknecht]] at round start. Webknechts hatch with a delay of 1 or 2 turns randomly, can't act on the round they hatched, drop no loot and their XP reward is halved. After spawning 4 spiders Eggs self-destruct.

They all instantly die if there are no more spiders on the map.

==Tips==

*Low priority target. Difficult to reach, and some spiders will be on the way, stalling you. Only attack them on opportunity.
*You will fight almost two times more spiders because of these. However they attack with a delay, instead of in a one wave.
*Use a [[Falcon]] to reveal their positions.
*Can be sniped with [[Heavy Crossbow]] (1-2 shots), [[Nomad Sling]] (2 shots) or a single [[Bundle of Throwing Axes|Throwing Axe]].
*If you kill initial wave of spiders quickly, you can get a little extra XP killing spiders hatching from eggs, leaving eggs intact.
