He has Footwork and can use it offensively to reach and strike someone vulnerable. When he dies and any Fault Finders are present, one of them is chosen to resurrect the Diviner. The Fault Finder dies and the Diviner respawns on his tile, has his equipment repaired and morale set to confident, and a miasma cloud is created on the tile where he was originally killed. If no Fault Finders remain and you kill him, none of this happens and he does not respawn. His flail does not drop, you get it in the event after the battle. Armor and helmet drop normally, no matter how damaged they were or how many times you killed the Grand Diviner. == Tips == * Can move two steps and attack at polearm range, or strike twice per turn, and has Adrenaline. This is likely to grant him the first strike, and not preventing him from attacking can sometimes result in double headshots. Less deadly than normal two-handed flails because the attack lacks bonus armor penetration, but you should be prepared for it. * Obviously, kill Fault Finders first, otherwise you will have to fight him multiple times. * Control him by stunning, don't let him attack at all. Disarm is less reliable and still allows him to break free from nets and use Adrenaline, which, combined with waiting, can allow him to negate one turn of status effects. Successful stuns or disarms means no heavy attacks on you and no miasma. Stuns also allow you to move away from existing miasma. * You can throw a net at him when he ends his turn early without using Adrenaline and act before him on the next turn. * Unlike most high tier human enemies, he doesn't have increased fatigue regen or Recover, it's possible to limit him to one basic attack per turn. Hitting him a lot with maces and triple flails will cap him on fatigue. * While having good resolve, he is not immune to morale checks. You can even bully him into fleeing morale, though it is impractical. Navbox Enemies
