Behavior
Brigand Marauders start appearing in the middle game, one or more among weaker brigands. Later, brigand parties can sometimes entirely consist of Marauders.
Tips
*They resemble Barbarian Chosen because of similar stats, heavy armor and lack of shields, but have weaker weapons, stats and perk set.
*They often have weapons with extra head hit chance or damage, the most dangerous of which is Two-Handed Flail, and Head Hunter. Protect heads accordingly and take defensive perks.
*Have some means of escape before the guaranteed second head hit finishes you. The simplest is to Knock Back with a shield.
*Armor piercing or anti-armor weapons are required to penetrate their armor.
*Control them by stunning. Disarming only works against 6 AP weapons because they have Quick Hands. Unarmed attacks interfere with Head Hunter.
*Can be punctured for their armor if the risk is not too high.
*Their heavy armor makes them easy to Overwhelm.
*Their morale can be broken with Fearsome if you can deal HP damage through armor.
*Their lack of Resilient makes them more vulnerable to poisons and Daze.
*Letting them spend turns using throwing weapons seems a better option than walking into melee range of a scary Executioner's Sword with all these Raiders still present on the battlefield.
