}}Man at Arms is an armored melee unit from the Noble faction.
Equipment
*A weapon:
**60% chance of a Pollaxe, Billhook, Pike, Polehammer or Longsword.
**40% chance of a Military Pick (double chance), Arming Sword (double chance), Morning Star, Winged Mace or Flail.
*A Reinforced Mail Hauberk (210), Footman's Armor (190), Light Scale Armor (170) (only houses with certain banners), Mail Hauberk (150), Mail Shirt (130) or Basic Mail Shirt (115).
** The armor has a 75% chance of Metal Joint Covers (30) (4/7 chance) or a Mail Patch (20) (3/7 chance) on it.
* A helmet:
** 33% chance of a Soldier's Heraldic Bascinet (220).
** 67% chance of a Closed Flat Top with Mail (280), Bascinet with Mail (210) (double chance), Barbute Helmet (190), Closed and Padded Flat Top (180), Closed Flat Top Helmet (170), or, with triple chance, depending on their noble house, Flat Top with Closed Mail (265), Kettle Hat with Closed Mail (250) or Nasal Helmet with Closed Mail (240).
* If the weapon is one-handed, a Kite Shield (40% chance) or Heater Shield (60% chance).

Behavior
Depending on what equipment they have, Men at Arms' role and behavior are similar to those of Footmen or Billmen.
They can use Shieldwall if they have a shield, and can Rotate with allies to save them from danger.
Tips
*Prioritize those armed with two-handed weapons, if there are no weaker targets. Control them with stun or disarm.
*Their relatively low hitpoints hint at their vulnerability to armor piercing damage and Puncture. If killed this way, they drop their armor.
*Two-Handed Flails bypass their shields and inflict more damage on headshots, because Men at Arms don't have Steel Brow.
*Breaking their shields takes time, but does not require melee skill or Double Grip.
*Their morale can be broken with Fearsome if you can deal HP damage through armor.
*When fighting on your side, they can rotate you into dangerous positions.
