你来到营火旁，与弟兄们待在一起。自负的弟兄忽然站起来，满脸通红地开口。
"你们这些可怜虫怎么想，我不知道。反正我觉得，这营地交给我，肯定比谁都管得好！尤其比他强！"
他伸出一根手指指向你。
你坐下来。弟兄们都盯着你，等你回应。
你舒展双腿，把手放在膝上，点着头对那人说道。
"好啊，自负的弟兄。现在你当家。每天早晚，你都得清点物资。我知道你数数一塌糊涂，不过可以学。总不能让这些好弟兄上战场时，才发现少了几支箭。"
你抬手指了指几顶帐篷。
"你还得随时管好手下。他们可不好管，这话听起来是不是有点讽刺——也许你听不出来。"
你低头看看那双日渐长满老茧、遍布瘀伤的手，继续说。
"还有，下命令不能光图喊得响，得让弟兄们活下来，喘着气回来。比如你，还有围在你身边这些人。所以，接任吧，自负的弟兄。这差事归你了。"
你刚说完，一群弟兄便立刻站起来，恳请你继续领队。自负的弟兄见状，泄了气，悄悄溜走。四下满是“还是你来当家”的呼声。

营火噼啪作响，橙光映着你的脸。你点点头，站起身，走到自负的弟兄面前。他想后退，却已被你一把抓住肩膀。你迅速上步，用腿别住他的膝弯，把人掀翻在地。你跟着压下去，一只手扼住他的喉咙，另一只手指着他斥责。
"你是条好汉，自负的弟兄，可也是个蠢货。我知道，有些人对眼下的日子不满意。可别忘了，你们都还活着！要是换成自负的弟兄这样的人领队，两周内就得死个精光！"
你站起身，竟又伸手把自负的弟兄拉了起来。他冲你冷笑，转身走开，临走还踢翻了一摞木桶。前些日子中箭的伤处传来阵阵疼痛，你咬紧牙，若无其事地重新坐下。

你立刻跳起来，放声怒吼。
"这里我说了算！是我！谁掏的钱？我！没有我，你们能在这儿？你们还在从前那摊烂泥里打滚呢！我给你们活路，你们就该趴在我脚边道谢！还有你，自负的弟兄，再敢跟我叫板，我向诸神发誓，先抽你鞭子，再把你吊死，听懂了吗？"
这一通怒喝，瞬间让营地鸦雀无声。自负的弟兄点点头，退了下去。你重新落座时，几个弟兄开始低声嘀咕。

While joining the company at a campfire, Cocky自负 stands up and speaks with reddened face.
"I don't know about the rest of you sad clods, but I think I could run this camp better than anyone! Especially better than him!"
He points a finger at you.
You take a seat. The men are staring at you, waiting for a response.
You kick your feet out, legs akimbo, and place your hands in your lap. Nodding, you speak to the man.
"Alright, Cocky自负. You're the man now. You gotta count inventory every morning and night. I know you can't count for shite, but you'll learn. Don't want these fine men going into battle a few arrows short."
You throw a hand out to a few of the tents.
"You'll also need to keep a steady count on your people. They're not easily controlled, to which you might find some irony - or not."
Looking at your hands, which have grown calloused and bruised over the days, you keep talking.
"And you'll need to bark orders that aren't just there to be heard - but there to keep men alive and breathing. You know, like yourself and those who sit around you. So yeah, take the job, Cocky自负. It's yours."
As soon as you finish, a group of brothers immediately stands up and begs for you to remain in charge. Cocky自负, seeing this, backs down and slinks away as yells of 'you're in charge!' fill the air.

The campfire crackles an orange glow across your face. Nodding, you stand up and walk up to Cocky自负. He takes a step back, but not before you throw a hand out and grab him by the shoulder. You quickly step forward, scissoring a leg back behind his knee, buckling him and throwing him onto his back. You follow him to the ground and there plant one hand around his throat while the other points an accusing finger.
"You're a good man Cocky自负, but a stupid one, too. Now, I see some of y'all aren't happy about how things are going, but let me remind you that you are all still alive! If someone like Cocky自负 was in charge you'd all be dead in a fortnight!"
Standing up, you actually help Cocky自负 to his feet. He sneers at you and takes off, kicking a stack of barrels over as he leaves. A wave of pain eminates from where the arrow hit you not long ago, but you clench your teeth and try not to give away anything as you sit down again.

Cocky自负 gets a bad mood |
You immediately jump back to your feet and begin shouting.
"I'm the one in charge here! Me! Who has the money? Me! If it weren't for me, none of y'all would even be here! You'd still be in the pits of whatever old lives you had! You should be groveling before my feet for the opportunities I have provided! And Cocky自负, if you contest me again I swear to the gods I will have you flogged and hanged, understand?"
The outburst instantly quiets the camp. Cocky自负 nods and backs away. A few of the men murmur between themselves as you take your seat again.
