Swordmaster is a dangerous evasive elite unit, sometimes encountered in arena竞技场 fights and among mercenaries佣兵 and brigands强盗.

Can become a champion精英勇士 with a 2% chance.

Equipment

• An Arming Sword骑士单手剑, Shamshir舍施尔弯刀 or Noble Sword贵族长剑.
• A Footman's Armor步兵甲 (190), Light Scale Armor轻鳞甲 (170), Mail Hauberk长锁甲 (150), Leather Scale Armor皮鳞甲 (140), Mail Shirt锁甲衫 (130) or Basic Mail Shirt简易锁甲衫 (115).
• 90% chance of a Nasal Helmet with Mail锁甲护鼻盔 (200), Nasal Helmet护鼻盔 (105), Mail Coif锁甲头巾 (80), Feathered Hat羽饰帽 (30) or Headscarf头巾 (20).

Behavior

Swordmasters will use Footwork灵活步法 or even just walk in a zone of control to get close to someone vulnerable and attack him. They sometimes use Riposte还击架势 instead of attacking.

Tips

• High accuracy allows them to reliably hit evasive characters.
• They deal high damage, but are also evasive and tough due to Nimble轻灵.
• Their melee defense is so high that even nets are not enough to melee them effectively. If their morale士气 happens to break, they will likely escape, dodging your attempts to strike, rallying when no longer threatened.
• Attack them with ranged weapons, preferably throwing.
• If you can not use ranged weapons, like when sworn the Oath of Honor, spears, Backstabber背刺者, Fast Adaptation快速适应 and high melee skill can be somewhat useful. Expect the fight to be very difficult.
• They lack Resilient顽强, so poisons can be effective. Nimble轻灵 doesn't reduce poison damage.
• They are sometimes indistinguishable from a regular melee enemy until it's too late.
