Equipment

• A Heavy Crossbow重弩 (34% chance) or Crossbow弩 (66% chance).
• A Dagger匕首 or Knife小刀.
• A Gambeson厚衬软甲 (65) or Padded Surcoat厚衬罩衣 (50).
• 80% chance of a Mail Coif锁甲头巾 (80), Full Aketon Cap全覆厚衬布帽 (50), Aketon Cap厚衬布帽 (40) or Headscarf头巾 (20).

Behavior

Shooting their bolts at enemies, Arbalesters sometimes choose a target directly behind an ally, risking to hit him instead, though it rarely happens. Sometimes they spend a turn repositioning. It is possible for an Arbalester to jump ahead of the formation to shoot, becoming an easy target for enemy arrows.

Tips

• Their crossbows deal armor-piercing damage, causing injuries and even instant death without defensive perks特长.
• Priority targets because of their threat, and vulnerable.
• They often stand behind Billmen钩镰枪兵 or other Arbalesters, making them easier to shoot at.
• If exposed, they are a priority targets for your archers.
• If you don't rely on ranged units, prefer nighttime when they are less accurate.
• They can use Rotation换位 to escape melee, but usually don't do it.
• When fighting on your side, they can rotate you into dangerous positions.
