Ancient Legionary is an enemy from the Ancient Dead faction.
Equipment
- An Ancient Sword古代长剑 (75% chance) or Broken Ancient Sword古代断剑 (25% chance).
- An Ancient Breastplate古代胸甲 (135), Ancient Scale Harness古代鳞甲 (125), Ancient Double Layer Mail古代双层锁甲 (120) or Ancient Mail古代锁甲 (100).
- An Ancient Legionary Helmet古代军团盔 (130).
- An Ancient Coffin Shield古代棺形盾 (66% chance) or Ancient Tower Shield古代塔盾 (34% chance).

Behavior
These enemies often shieldwall盾墙 to protect themselves. They use Rotation换位 to swap places with a pikeman engaged in melee, if they are not in melee themselves.
Tips
- Fragile, but armored and difficult to hit when shieldwalling.
- Armor piercing weapons kill them through their medium armor, just make sure they do blunt or slashing damage and not actual piercing.
- Have good accuracy to hit them reliably.
- Breaking their shields takes time, but does not require melee skill or Double Grip.
- If taunted受到挑衅, they can't shieldwall.
- Their weaponry doesn't work well against heavy armor护甲, but will cause early morale士气 checks on Nimble轻灵 brothers because of Fearsome威慑.
- Wait and move two tiles back on your first turn. Wait on the second turn, enemies will approach with no shieldwall. You have two turns in a row to attack them.
- Throwing Axes are required for your ranged brothers to be effective.
- Heavy Rusty Axe锈蚀重斧 kills them in one hit with a trait like Huge高大. Two-Handed Flanged Mace双手棱头钉锤 does it with Killing Frenzy杀戮狂热. Named two-handed weapons can be even better.
