Mercenary is a melee unit of variable strength, which appears in mercenary squads and as enemy during some contracts.
Equipment
- A weapon:
- 25% chance of a Billhook钩镰, Pike长枪 or Warbrand长刃战刀.
- 75% chance of a Handaxe手斧, Flail, Morning Star晨星钉锤, Boar Spear猎猪矛, Arming Sword骑士单手剑 or Falchion阔刃刀.
- If the weapon's range is 1, 50% chance of a Bundle of Throwing Axes飞斧束 or Bundle of Javelins标枪束.

Tips
- Lower Mercenaries have exactly same stats as Brigand Raider强盗劫掠者, but slightly better equipment and perks特长.
- Normal Mercenaries are much stronger due to superior stats, extra perks and better equipment. They can be very dangerous in the early game due to heavy armor and weapons.
- Prioritize better armed and less protected ones.
- Use flails to hit their unprotected heads and loot the armor.
- Normal Mercenaries will Overwhelm压制 you, unless you are faster, use Adrenaline肾上腺素, nets, daze or stagger.
- When fighting on your side, they can rotate you into dangerous positions.
- Their armor护甲 can be heavy. Armor piercing or anti-armor weapons are required to penetrate it.
- Can be punctured for their armor if their morale士气 breaks or if you can reliably stun or disarm缴械 them.
